Silas- Week 3

March 19th- 25th: This week was fairly uneventful. Silas just seems to be woven right into our family, and goes along with the flow so easily. He goes to swimming lessons with Harrison, and loves to lay on a towel on the warm pool deck. He is packed up daily and taken on the various 'adventures' that keep his big brother busy, and rarely has a problem with it (as long as we stop to let him eat when he is hungry).

Nights are fairly similar. He is happy to wake up, eat, get a new diaper, and go back to bed. Though, he does eat faster for dad. One night, Bryan returned to bed 25 minutes after getting up and I was shocked and he said, "he knows I mean business- he wants to just hang out with you." Great...3 am hang outs with girls are already a priority!

Silas enjoys tummy time, has started to really focus on things around him, turns his head when his brother talks to him (or enters the room, or runs screaming by him) and seems to LOVE being cuddled. We are happy to cuddle during the day, because when he lays down, he CONSTANTLY lays with is head looking to the right. We move it, lay him the opposite way, change him and feed him laying the other direction, all in an effort to avoid physical therapy. I am not sure it will be something we can avoid...only time will tell.

Those TINY newborn diapers. Proof that my 9 pounder actually wore them :)
I will have to take a picture with them net to something for size comparison!

Sleeping in the sun!

With big cousin Lydia!

Celebrating Bryan and grandpa's birthdays!

With grandma Suzanne.

With uncle Joel and uncle Kevin.

Silas LOVES bath time. He was screaming a few minutes before these photos were taken :)
