Nesting=Cooking/Baking?

So, I had the sudden urge to name a BUNCH of yummy food to freeze for the weeks following the birth of the little man. Here are a few photos of my madness...which I am sure I will be thankful for in a few weeks!

May 13th (we think)!!

Our doctor recommended that we schedule a c-section, for a variety of reasons! Originally it was supposed to be on May 14th, but the OR schedule was full! So, (we think) that it has been moved to May 13th!! We will find out for sure at our 36 week appointment in a few days.

The Showers Have Passed!

I have had three showers, all thrown by some incredible people! It has been fun to be the one who was showered, but bittersweet that this part of our lives is over. Thank you to all who attended, and for all the wonderful stuff for the little man!

Just try to resist Pottery Barn Kids...I DARE YOU!!!

A few weeks ago I was on a shopping trip and walked by Pottery Barn Kids. I decided "there is no harm in just looking". Yeah right! That little window shopping adventure turned into having a 'Spring/Summer' theme for the nursery, and a 'Fall/Winter' theme for the nursery...which of course meant more sewing projects (c'mon Pottery Barn, we can make curtains and crib skirts for much less than that). Needless to say, the little boy now has a California Surf themed room, which will change to MOD woodland creatures come fall! Pictures to come once all the baby shower items are put away.
