Silas- Week 29

September 17th- 23rd: This week we got together to celebrate grandpa Jon's birthday..a few days late :) Silas was a trooper, as ALWAYS!! The only difference was the voice he used to tell everyone he was there!!! He has finally found him screaming voice.
 
Happenings this week:
-Tooth #4 FINALLY showed its ugly head! (Now there are 4 on the bottom).
-ECFE Started last week (Silas has the cutest little class of 6-10 month old baby friends. He is one of the only ones who can't reliably sit up on his own, but that is something I think he will master any minute now).
-Eating PUFFS!! (Silas is doing great at picking things up to put in his mouth. He is not always 100% accurate, or even 50%, but he is getting there).

I don't think that I ever put up his 6 month Stats! So, here they are:

Birthday Celebration!!

Silas- Week 28 and Apple Orchard

September 10th- 16th: Silas is getting over his illness, but he has not let that slow him down too much. He is SO close to crawling. He has his dog stance rocking, and has even taught himself how to scoot backwards on the wood floor to get to things quicker. Because of this, I have put away a lot of "baby" things, and took out the Johnny Jumper, standing activity table and crawling toys. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!!!??

The weather took a turn for the cooler side, so I found myself doing the clothing shuffle to get out winter gear, and all 12 month and some 12-18 month clothing. We will definitely hit Harrison's summer sized clothing in the dead of winter... Looks like some clothes shopping is in my future :)

This week, Silas made his first trip to the APPLE ORCHARD! It is such a fun fall rite of passage in Minnesota. The boys had a great time (well, minus the bee's). It is always fun to see the orchard through little eyes!

Labor Day Weekend- 2014

Every year, we look forward to going to my cousins' farm. Harrison waited at the end of the sidewalk for grandma and grandpa to get there to pick him up. He got to go with them a day earlier than the rest of us.

Life is not complete without swinging from a rope in the hayloft in the barn! Harrison would LOVE to live on a farm. He recently even decided that he would like to be a cheese farmer when he grows up... You'll have to ask him about that one :)
