MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
We spent three fantastic family-filled days celebrating the birth of our Savior (plus a couple hours the weekend after).
First, we went to my parents house and celebrated on the evening of December 23rd until afternoon of December 24th. Harrison and I had the day off on the 23rd, so it was fun to meander our way to grandma and grandpa's, stopping off at the Mall of America for some ornaments.
We enjoyed each others company and ate way too much yummy food! Isn't that how Christmas is supposed to go?
On Christmas morning, we woke up at home and watched our overly excited 3 1/2 year old open his "Santa" presents. Santa had been watching all winter via his elf helper, Ferdinand (whose shenanigans will be written about in the winter post). Harry must have been on the good list, because he received the planes movie and airport that he had really wanted :)
Later on Christmas Day, we went to celebrate with Bryan's family and grandma at grandpa's house. Everyone was there to ring in the joyous season! The day was spent having indoor snowball fights, watching Rudolph, sledding, and sharing the stories of Jesus' birth, as we were celebrating His birthday!!
The weekend after Christmas, we went to celebrate with Harrison's great-grandparents! He was, as always, happy to help anyone with the task of gift opening.
