Harrison- Week 23

He really just wants to eat the fur off his monkey now...ARGH!! The monkey might have to take a short break from weekly pictures until Harrison is able to leave him alone!!

This week was another busy week. Unfortunately, it was busy in a way that did not yield many pictures...

On Friday night, aunt Laura watched Harrison so that we could go on a date to the Gopher hockey game. He was a pretty good boy for her. Later in the weekend we celebrated Jill (and Puddles- her baby girl due in December). While I was celebrating at her shower, Harry and dad got some boy time iwth Dad! He will get a lot more Daddy time, since I started a class this week on Mondays. So, Bryan is home with Harrison until close to 7, when Jeremiah comes to visit! It makes for a crazy night, unless they both fall asleep by 7:30 (which they have done the last two weeks- YIPEE!!) Luckily, grandma came on Tuesday to watch Harrison, so he got a day at home with a few errands for an adventure. Lucky for her, he still LOVES to sleep in the car!

We are so amazed at how much Harrison is teaching himself to do! He has learned to grab almost anything, and move it where he would like it, usually to his mouth. This week, he has also started to really follow Bryan and I (and even the dog) when we are moving around or talking to him. It is pretty incredible how much he is taking in!

In his Packers gear!

Watching the game with dad.

Jumping while mom was cleaning the bathroom.

Logging some late night hours at the 'office' (that is what we call his excersaucer).

Laying with dad.

Harrison- Baptism

Harrison was baptized on October 17th, 2010. There were 6 baptisms at church that day, but pastor Steve made each one individually important and special. We had a full house, with 15 adults and 8 kids, age 5 and under!! Thankfully, our neighbors gave us the O.K. to play on their swingset, and there were lots of grown-ups to play with the kids! Most importantly, they were all there to celebrate Harrison, and his/our commitment to raise him as a child of God.

Even Rosie got in on the festivities!

Harrison- Week 22

NO SMILES for his weekly pictures this week. I guess that is real life...sometimes you get them, and sometimes you don't!

This week I think we have finished up trying all of the "first" baby foods- squash and green beans were on the menu! We are moving to two feedings of baby food per day, which makes me hopeful for longer nights of sleep!! This decision came after four nights in a row of Harry waking up around 10:45, 1:30 an 4:00. I assume he was cluster feeding, or possibly getting another tooth, but it still makes for a hard day at work. Thankfully, I had Thursday and Friday off this week!

On Thursday, Harrison and I met Kaia, Sydney and London to go through Underwater Adventures at the Mall of America. Aunt Erika had brought the boys to Como Zoo earlier in the week, where Harry had been more intrigued by the railings, than the animals. So, I was interested to see how the fish would go! He thought they were great! Perhaps it was because there was no other option, since you are surrounded by them.

Baptism- See other post.
