Caroline- 23 Weeks

March 23rd- 29th

Caroline had a lot of firsts this week:
1. She moved into  9 month clothes… Not sure that she will stay in them very long.
2. She tried some baby foods- so far, pears, apples, bananas. She is not a fan of bananas! Then, she threw up a couple times after eating apples, so we are hoping it was too much food as opposed to an apple allergy/sensitivity.
3. She had her first day at Ms. Amy’s, our awesome daycare.
4. She FINALLY takes a NUK! After buying 6 or 7 different kinds, Tommee Tippee takes the win. This is HUGE because she had no way to soothe herself to sleep. She is trying to suck her thumb, but cant quite get it. Now, the whining when she is tired can be plugged and helped along :)
5. Her first time in the excersaucer. She is still a little wobbly, but is getting better.
6. She is TALKING!! No, not words, but she is so much more vocal this week.

This girl LOVES bath time. Especially when her brothers come and entertain her.

Lots of stroller naps this week... WITH NUKS!!!

Caroline- Baptism

*We will add some from the ceremony later*
Caroline was baptized on March 12th, 2016. We came back to our home church, Calvary, as we are still looking for a new home church in Missouri. We also wanted all of our children baptized at the same church. The entire family was able to join us for baptism and lunch afterwards at a favorite pizza place of ours (since we did not have a house here to hose at) Most importantly, they were all there to celebrate Caroline, and her/our commitment to raise her as a child of God.

We took photos  BEFORE the service- wiser after the 3rd child!

Caroline- 21 and 22 Weeks in Minnesota

Week 21- March 9th- 15th
Week 22- March 16th- 22nd

We took a quick weekly photo at the end of Week 22, when we came back to Missouri (and the warmer weather). While we were in Minnesota, the weather was puffy-coat worthy, and gross. So, we were happy to come back to sunshine and sixty degrees.

On the way to and from Minnesota, we stayed in a hotel in Iowa. We all swam, including our little sister fishy! I can't wait for the pool to open.

In Minnesota, the most important thing that happened was Caroline's Baptism. There will be a separate post for that. The rest of the week was Spring Break for Harrison, so we just enjoyed being back "home" for a while.

Caroline worked really hard on trying to roll back over from her front to her back, but is not quite there yet. Other than that, she came along for many-a-ride to all sorts of places. She seemed to take it in stride, and enjoy time out with all the different people we visited with.

A trip to the Minnesota Zoo!
