Silas- Week 47

January 21st- 27th: Silas is getting SO CLOSE to standing on his own. He has taken a few steps holding on to things here and there, but has not gotten the courage up to just let go and try standing on his own without plopping onto his bum. He will do it, when he is sure that he can, but until then he will keep trying. He is our little ball of positive energy.

Despite having ear infection #5 (yes #5 since September), he has stayed SO unbelievably happy all day long. Night, however, is a different story. Bryan and I both logged quite a few hours in the overstuffed yellow rocking chair in his room sleeping with him in our arms. One piece of advice for new parents- BUY A COMFY RECLINING GLIDER for the nursery- you will sleep in it more than you ever thought possible.

During the day, however, he is an angel. He plays so happily by himself and can entertain himself for hours. Of course, he is happiest when he can play with his big brother in the play room. He loves this magical room filled with all the things his bog brother loves to play with. Big brother, however, is unsure about sharing his prized possessions. And so it begins!

Just a few of the "others" from the weekly photo shoot this week.
