January 7th- 13th: HE IS SAYING MAMA!!!! Two of my favorite mile stones are when a babe says mama, and directs it towards the right person, and when they stand up in their crib reaching for you in the morning with a giant smile. Silas managed to do both of those things this week, and my heart if FULL!
This week, Silas has become very brave! He is standing up a TON, and walking with toys and dining room chairs. He will even stand on his own (if he doesn't know he is doing it). I fear it is only a matter of time before he is completely mobile!
Silas has fought another battle with croup and ear infections. Bryan and I have both agreed that maybe there is something in our house that make our boys catch the upper respiratory junk so easily, which makes our excitement to move that much stronger! We think, too, that a move to a warmer climate, where the kiddos can get some fresh air (and get out of the germs for more of the year), might do us all some health-filled good! We will have to see where we end up :)
We had NO SNOW for Christmas this year. A few weeks later, and a real Minnesota winter arrives. Silas enjoyed the snow, but he really enjoys everything, so I was not surprised!
Swapping over toys. We put away bins to keep the toys that are out interesting through the winter months.
Silas STILL love to play with the toy house from uncle Eric.
