UPDATE!!!

We started our weekly appointments today. First, he is measuring in the 94th percentile now, at an apparently whopping 5 pounds, 13 ounces! Obviously, this is an estimate, but they said it is usually accurate within 10%.
Second, he passed his BPP and non-stress test. So, that is good!
Third, we are looking at an arrival date of closer to May 12th :)

His Room!!

Here are some pictures of the nursery. I took them after a baby shower, so things were put away...but not necessarily where it should go. I still need to finish sewing the curtains and crib skirt, but you get a pretty good idea!

I have a super crafty friend, Heidi, who introduced me to the blog Homemade by Jill. She (both Heidi and Jill) makes these awesome burp cloths! I decided to make some little boy burp cloths one afternoon to appease my nesting desires!

Woodland Critters

After being either unsatisfied with what was out there, or the price of what was out there, I decided to put my degree to work and paint some canvases for the nursery. I must admit that I saw the critters in a Stampin-Up catalog, but could not choose an "animal theme". So, I asked Bryan to choose the critters. He chose the owl and the fox, because they are the smartest animals in the forrest. Here is what they turned out like!

Size DOES matter!

I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that the little man is not so little. He is already 3 lbs. 8 oz! Apparently it is somewhat like the three bears...this baby is too small, this baby is just right, well, our boy (at the 90th percentile) is too big! We are happy that he is healthy and thriving, but have now entered the realm of "things you don't read about in the baby books." Starting at 32 weeks, we will have weekly BPP ultrasounds, just to make sure that he is comfortable in his surroundings! I guess more pictures are in order. He should be one photogenic babe by the time we finally get to meet him...whenever that happens to be :)

If we build it...he will come!

We had the nursery carpeted a few weeks ago. After moving everything out to carpet, we decided it would make more sense to relocate things that were not going to be in the little mans' room. Which, of course, led to picking up and building the furniture under the supervision of one curious pooch. It is still a work in progress, but all the furniture fits!!

So, he is due WHEN exactly?

Our first appointment, we were given a due date of May 19th. Then, our next appointment (and first ultrasound) it was looking a little more like May 13th. Since that was not a huge difference, they did not change the date. Now, our most recent ultrasound shows his due date as May 6th! So, to answer the question... He is due sometime in May!!!
