Caroline- 32 Weeks

May 25th- 31st-

Well, what can I say. I didn't expect the youngest of our tribe to be a quiet little girl, since she will have to be able to be heard living under the same roof as her brothers, but she is starting early. Her current voice is very loud, and she has started to use it when we take something away from her.

Overnight, she is quiet, though. We moved her to her faster bottles, and now sleeps almost 12 hours every night. As long as she has a nuk, her sleep sack, and her Dock-A-Tot. I don't even know what we are going to do when she outgrows that.

Besides sleeping, she LOVES getting a bath. Now we put about 2 inches in the bottom of the bathtub, and let her swim! She also got more swimming practice when the neighborhood pool opened up this week. I have a feeling we will be there a lot this summer. I plan to have 3 water babies :)

First time in a high chair!

Caroline- 30 and 31 Weeks

30 Weeks- May 11th- 17th
31 Weeks- May 18th- 24th

Bryan had to fly to Guam for 16 days, so Grandma and Grandpa came to stay with me and help out while he was away, especially since the dates he was gone would cover Harrison's birthday, and the end of the school year.

Caroline has enjoyed having extra people around to point at. She is pointing at everything these days (see monthly picture). She is especially fond o pointing at eyes, which is more fun if your a doll than a human. She is reliably rolling from front to back, then back again. She also graduated from bouncy seats, and I put most of them away. My baby is not so much a baby anymore.

Grandma worked with her, and Caroline got better at eating. Caroline is finally getting the hang of this eating thing. Her favorites so far are: pears, mangoes, sweet potatoes,  and anything with blueberries. Though she has mastered the art of eating without spitting food back out, she is far from using those pointer fingers to pick up finger foods.

Strawberry Picking- Next year she will be all over it!!

We went to the St. Louis Arch for Harrison's 7th Birthday!!

Caroline- 29 Weeks

May 4th-10th

The tooth count is climbing! We are officially at 4, on the verge of 5! She isn't even that bothered by the addition of a couple more teeth, which is wonderful, because everyone in our house loves to sleep. Caroline is finally getting more interested in eating baby food. She is not super great at it, yet, but with all those teeth it should only be a matter of time.

She is more into toys, so I have been pulling out some of the boys favorites. She, however, REALLY loves it when her brothers pay attention to her. Harrison is more likely to be the one you would find hanging out with her, but occasionally you can catch Silas there, too.

A new milestone this week is her "wave". She doesn't use it as a wave yet, but she winds her wrist around and I believe that it will be her wave some day. So CUTE, but so hard to get an accurate picture of.

A family trip to Grants Farm.

Caroline- 27 and 28 Weeks

27- April 20th- 26th
28- April 27th- May 3rd

HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY TO CAROLINE!!!

Caroline is doing some new tricks this week. She is sticking out her tongue, which she loves to show us, and has finally figured out how to get her toes to her mouth. She is 'trying' to sit, but still has a really difficult time getting her legs into a wide enough stance to make a very good base. I think she might need a trip to the chiropractor soon!

She is also awake more during the day. The months of sleeping when we were shopping, and not caring where we were as long as she is in her comfy car seat, are over. The upside to this is that her naps are now more consistent, with one short nap in the morning, a long afternoon nap and sometimes a nap around dinner, but I think she is starting to drop that nap.

Having a more predictable schedule has made it easier for us to plan out outings and days. That being said, she still goes with the flow (as I think most 3rd children do), and is happy to be wherever we are.
