Week 43: December 24th -30th & Week 44: December 31st- January 6th: There was a lot happening during these couple weeks, but I am choosing to focus on the birth of our Savior- Jesus Christ. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
We celebrated Christmas with Jill's family on Christmas Eve. I will narrate through the photos.
The boys got all dressed up for Christmas Eve service at Hosanna! There was a live nativity and great music to help us celebrate.
Harrison was not super excited to be taking pictures. Now he has this a proof for the rest of his life. We all need photos like this :)
Matchy-matchy ChristmasPJ's and hats. I think this will be the only year I can buy them clothes in the same department.
Bryan was home with the flu, so we let the boys open their presents from uncle Eric. He chose wisely- both kept the boys busy for the ours before going to bed.
Before breakfast Bryan arrived to watch the boys open their Santa gifts. It was a flurry of flying papers for Harrison to open his gifts. For Silas, it was a lot of observation, with the occasional presents shown to him. He was much more interested in the boxes and eating paper :)
We opened our family presents and enjoyed some lunch and naps before heading home.
Harrison and I made a gingerbread house between Christmas and New Years.
For New Years Eve, we went bowling with out friend Alli! We also came home to play some Minute to Win It games with Harrison after Silas went to bed. Last, of course, we had to play Sorry because nobody can go to sleep in our house without a rousing game of Sorry these days.
We celebrated Christmas with Bryan's family over New Years. I will narrate through the photos.
When we arrived, there were toys ready for all 8 cousins to come an play!
Cousin Lydia and Silas.
CCousing Lydia and her trumpet!
Uncle Kevin and his trombone playing!
We had a program of music and stories at grandma and grandpa Gregory's house. The kiddos were such great listeners. They especially loved the Advent book.
